In Windows 7
Click Start > Control Panel > System and Security >Windows update option>
Turn automatic updating On or Off.
In Windows 8
Click on Settings >
Type ‘Windows Update‘ in search box >
Click on Windows Update >
Now Click on Turn Automatic Update On or Off
